Leah Salomaa - vocalist

Born in Toronto Canada, and trained in classical voice and violin, Leah has been singing with Jeans ’n Classics for 12 years, and greatly enjoys the range of solo and harmony singing she is called on to do with the company.

Leah started performing professionally in television and theatre at the age of nine. Throughout the years she has appeared in numerous TV commercials, shows, and live theatre.

More recently she has been vocalizing for film and television, and is most known for her work on the award winning show, Flashpoint. Leah has three children’s music releases: “Under a Winter Star”, “Father Sun, Mother Moon”, and “I Like to Rise - Family Folk Songs". Leah also leads song workshops for children and adults, and women's singing circles as a special guest around North America in a program called “Gaia Voice”.
